Preparing for your first appointment
We help you prepare for your first appointment by knowing what to expect and aim to answer any questions that you may have. You are welcome to get in touch with us before your appointment if you have questions prior to it.
Our friendly team including reception, patient coordinator, dental nurse, hygienist and dentist look forward to meeting you. Dr Jan is the Principal Dentist at Dentspa Dental Health.
THE FIRST APPOINTMENT GENERALLY INVOLVES:

A hearty welcome to Dentspa Dental Health practice by the dental team.

Discussing your dental health, including medical history and any concerns you may have.

The oral examination to check external oral structures, to screen for signs of gum disease and oral cancer, and to assess occlusion or dental bite.

Diagnostic tests such as dental impression, photographs and/or digital x-ray to record internal oral health condition that may not otherwise be visible.
The first appointment and oral health check-up lays the foundation to explore recommended treatment options to improve your oral health and wellbeing.
PERSONALISED TREATMENT PLANS
We develop a thorough treatment plan with you that includes:

Diagnostic results from tests, x-rays and photographs.

CT scan if required.

Recommended treatment options, including anxiety reduction.
